The Forest Witch

I’m every root and running brook,
every rustle in the winding leaves.
I’m the deer and the drifting birds,
I’m the mushrooms and the moss.

My home is green and gold
sunlight, and rain.
I’m here, and everywhere.
I’m the forest’s breath.
