Winter fae
She is barely separate from the landscape itself.
Her pale cloak merges into snowy hills,
her dotted blossoming trees carry just a trace of colour, pink, gold, lilac.
One arm outstretched, releasing something into the white air.
I am not entirely sure what she is letting go of. But I think you might recognise it.

I painted her in February for the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Fire Horse.
She is warmth inside the cold, hope inside the blue.
She is courage wearing flowers.
I named her L'Heure Bleue,
and then I realised she had to give her name to the whole collection.
